Bride+Groom+Officiant= Marriage
Some people tend to forget that you may need an officiant to really get married. Without someone with a license to marry, it may not be official. I think people tend to forget that having a pastor, minister or officiant present they are the most important person there besides the bride and groom.
The trend lately seems to be outside ceremonies or ceremonies not in a traditional church. Many people who move here out of town or that aren't members of churches here in the south and are unable to get married in a church. So many are turning to other options. We are here to help! We know that it is important to your special day that you like the person marrying you.
Some now are even offering premarital counseling along with your ceremony. One of our vendors- B4IDO is a premarital class at Church at Charlotte that provides a place to turn to for couples in Charlotte. Few tips for attending our Bridal Showcase
Brides, if you are coming to the Bridal Showcase coming up August 7th, here are some helpful tips to make sure that you are not overwhelmed and exhausted! We want you to have a great time, so take a second to look at these ideas....
*Wear comfortable shoes, and clothes. This is no time to wear the stilettos, its mostly concrete, wear the cute flats! Make sure to take advantage of taking a break at concessions if you are tired.
*Don't forget to pre-register online so you won't have to wait in line and save time. Go to www.TheBridalShowcaseNC.com to buy tickets now. All brides must register to be eligible for $2 off coupon (which you can print for each guest that attends with you). Make sure you register before midnight on Tuesday, August 2nd.
*Bring labels with your name, address, email, phone number and wedding date. It will help save time since vendors will ask for your information. Or you can purchase some on our website for $5
*Don't force your groom to go with you, but if he wants to go let him go to the Groom's Lounge to relax and watch the game for a little bit. LOTS of activities and free food for him as well.
*Bring a backup- friend, mother, maid of honor to have some fun girly time....that really cares about the flowers, rental decor, venues, ect...they may be able to get a lot out of the show as well even though they are not the bride.
*You will be given a Belk Bridal Bag for all your goodies, and info. So you won't have to carry it all~!
*Do not feel pressured to commit to one vendor. You are there to get information and look around. But make sure to follow up with your favorite vendors quickly. They will book up fast if you don't act quickly.
*Lastly- HAVE FUN and remember you are a bride and are marrying the man of your dreams !!
